January 2025: Warwick District Council has chosen Agile Applications (part of the IEG Group) SaaS Built Environment platform to modernise its Planning, Building Control, and Land Charges systems. The contract was signed in October 2024 and implementation will start in 2025.
The transition to the SaaS Built Environment platform represents a key milestone in the Council’s approach to deploy systems with a scalable, future-ready solution. This platform streamlines and supports a wide range of functions, for Planning, Building Control, and Land Charges. It enables Warwick to effectively manage end-to-end processes, facilitate consultations, share information, make informed decisions, and meet statutory targets and legislative requirements.
Additionally, its competitive cost structure will help Warwick District Council achieve savings and drive efficiencies by encouraging greater public involvement through 24/7 access to user-friendly portals. This transition ensures operational resilience and paves the way for streamlined service delivery to local residents, including access to planning application information, online planning consultations and the online submission of building control applications and planning enforcement complaints.
This decision also expands Agile’s customer base and strengthens its presence within the local government sector. The G-Cloud procurement process included a rigorous evaluation of available solutions within the marketplace, with Agile Applications emerging as the preferred partner, recognised for its proven expertise in delivering innovative, secure, and efficient solutions for local authorities.
