Salford City Council with Agile Applications (part of IEG Group) Named Finalists for the LGC Awards 2025

We’re excited to announce that Salford City Council with Agile Applications has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Innovation category at the LGC Awards 2025!

The LGC Awards are the biggest celebration of excellence in local government, recognising outstanding practice and cutting-edge innovations that improve public services. This year saw a record-breaking number of entries, making it a fiercely competitive shortlist.

Sarah Calkin, Editor of LGC, said: “We received almost 1,000 entries to the LGC Awards 2025, making it another record-breaking year and meaning all those on the shortlist should be extremely proud to have made the cut. At a time when many councils are embarking on huge change, it is more important than ever to take a moment to recognise the massive difference local government makes to the communities it serves and celebrate the teams and individuals going the extra mile to do so.”

Our collaboration with Salford City Council has been recognised for its transformative use of digital solutions, improving efficiency and service delivery within planning. Being named a finalist reinforces the impact of technology-driven innovation in public services.

The winners will be announced at the LGC Awards ceremony on 11th June 2025 at Grosvenor House, London, and we’re excited to celebrate alongside industry leaders shaping the future of local government.
