The LGC Awards are the biggest celebration of excellence in local government, recognising outstanding practice and cutting-edge innovations that improve public services. This year saw a record-breaking number of entries, making it a fiercely competitive shortlist.

At a time when many councils are embarking on huge change, it is more important than ever to take a moment to recognise the massive difference local government makes to the communities it serves and celebrate the teams and individuals going the extra mile to do so.”

The winners will be announced at the LGC Awards ceremony on 11th June 2025 at Grosvenor House, London, and we’re excited to celebrate alongside industry leaders shaping the future of local government.
